Who we are
Heart Expression & Care Givers Initiative (HECGI) is a Nigerian humanitarian, faith-based nonprofit serving children, teenagers and rural or underserved communities. Our work spans access to quality education, psychosocial support and mentorship, child safety, safe water and community climate resilience.
We work with communities rather than for them. Schools, local leaders, churches and families help shape what we deliver, and stay responsible for it long after a project is handed over.
Our faith in God is one of our core values and shapes how we serve — with compassion, love and generosity. Our assistance is offered to every child and family we meet, without condition.
